This isn't just any internal wastegate actuator; it's designed to give you better control over your boost on those internally wastegated turbos. What’s cool about it is that the diaphragm area is significantly larger than what you get with the stock actuator. This means it has way more authority over the wastegate flap, so you won’t have to worry about exhaust backpressure messing with your boost levels. Now, let’s talk tuning. The WGA comes with three different springs and a neat turnbuckle preload adjustment, which means you can set your base boost pressure anywhere from 5psi to 24psi. That’s a lot of flexibility to get your boost just right for your setup. For the EVO 9 models, this part number 7302 bolts right on to the factory turbo. They’ve got the 10psi and 7psi springs pre-installed for a solid base pressure of 17psi, plus they throw in a 5psi spring for those who want to tweak it even more.
