If you’re looking to give your street cruiser a serious boost, check out the new "X2" cylinder head. This isn’t just another part; it’s made from brand-new tooling and machined with precision, so you know you’re getting quality right out of the box. We're talking about high-grade 356-T6 aluminum castings that are lighter than your stock cast iron heads—about 25 lbs lighter, to be exact. That’s a nice little weight savings that can help with performance.
What really sets this head apart are the details. It comes loaded with Ford Performance M-6507-J302 intake valves and M-6505-G302 exhaust valves, plus PAC(R) 1219X Ovate Beehive valve springs. The wider valve cover gasket sealing rail is a thoughtful touch that helps prevent those annoying leaks. And yes, it’s machined for gasket seat spark plugs, so you won’t have to worry about compatibility issues there.
This head is ready to rock with all Ford Performance roller camshafts and most aftermarket hydraulic roller camshafts up to .600" lift. It’s designed to fit with a variety of aftermarket intake manifolds, headers, and valve train components, making it super versatile for your build. Just a heads up: if you’re running bolt-down rockers with a 1.6-1.7 ratio, make sure to check the clearance with your production rocker arms. Depending on your lifter preload, you might need to snag a Ford Performance Rocker Shim Kit (M-6529-A302 or M-6529-B302).
This head is perfect for 289/302/351 Windsor-style engines, with a 64cc volume and 188cc intake/63cc exhaust port volume. Each head is leak tested before assembly, so you can trust that it’s ready to perform right out of the box. If you’re serious about cranking up the horsepower on your ride, this is a solid upgrade you won’t regret.
Universal Fitment: This part is designed to fit a variety of vehicles, but it’s always smart to double-check compatibility for your specific setup. A little research goes a long way in ensuring you get the right fit.
