Fox is a company that was founded in 1974 by a motocross aficionado Bob Fox. Fox decided to develop a better quality shock that can perform better and handle the extreme forces encountered in motocross racing.
It was not an overnight success as it took him multiple design prototypes and trials before he came up with the perfect design. Finally, however, his design was proven correct when bikes fitted with Fox shocks began winning races.
