If you're looking to take your ride to the next level, the Garrett G30-770 Turbo Assembly Kit is a solid choice. With a 4-inch inlet and a 2-inch outlet compressor housing, this turbo is built to deliver some serious performance. The 0.83 A/R turbine housing, complete with a v-band in and out, is internally wastegated, making it a reliable option for those who crave power without the hassle of excessive tuning.

What really sets this turbo apart is its new G Series compressor wheel aerodynamics. This isn’t just marketing fluff; you’ll notice the difference in how quickly it spools up and how efficiently it pushes air into your engine. Plus, it comes fully equipped with speed sensor and pressure ports that are machined to perfection. You can even choose between standard and reverse rotation configurations, which is a nice touch for those of us who like to customize.

Durability is key in the turbo world, and Garrett doesn’t skimp here. The one-piece center housing and backplate design means you’re looking at increased durability and less chance of failure down the line. And if you’re into DIY installations, the four water jacket ports give you the flexibility to set things up just the way you want.

When it comes to handling heat, this turbo doesn’t back down. The Mar-M turbine wheel material is rated for temperatures up to 1050°C (that’s around 1922°F for those of us who prefer the imperial system), and the stainless steel turbine housings can handle the heat just as well. So whether you're pushing your vehicle hard on the track or just cruising around town, you can trust this turbo to keep its cool.

Now, a bit of the nitty-gritty: the compressor wheel has a 58mm inducer and a 71mm exducer, with a trim of 65. On the turbine side, you’re looking at a 60mm inducer and a 55mm exducer, with a trim of 84. The compressor housing A/R is set at 0.72, which helps with that quick spool time. The turbine housing inlet measures 3 inches O.D. with a V-band, while the outlet is 3.55 inches (90mm) O.D. with an 81mm centering ring V-band.

Included in the package are all the essentials: an oil feed restrictor fitting to -4AN, two coolant fittings to -6AN, and V-band clamps for both the inlet and outlet. You won’t be left scrambling for parts to get this beast installed.

For installation, you’ll need a few extra bits and pieces, but Garrett makes it simple. The inlet V-band flange for the turbo manifold is the ATP-FLS-350, and the outlet flange for the downpipe is ATP-FLS-351. You'll also want the oil drain flange (ATP-FLA-010) and gasket (GRT-GSK-008), plus the necessary fasteners (MIA-FST-034). And don’t forget the boost pressure port fitting (ATP-FTG-198) and speed sensor kit (ATP-ACS-032) to round out your setup.

In short, if you want a turbo that’s built for performance, reliability, and a bit of customization, the Garrett G30-770 is definitely worth considering. It’s got the specs, the durability, and the features to back it up.

What is ATP Turbo?

Advanced Tuning Products, Inc. (ATP Turbo) is a company that is solely dedicated to turbocharging. Its main goal is to engineer and manufacture quality turbocharging components that deliver a real difference in power gains. Currently located in Hayward, California, ATP Turbo offers an extensive lineup of innovative turbo components, all of which are backed by years of experience and a solid international reputation. The brand’s current lineup includes a wide range of blow-off valves, injectors, adapters, and several other turbo components that are engineered to bring about a significant boost in power.

Dedication to Quality and Reliability

While that act of turbocharging itself is not “new”, many of the parts ATP Turbo creates are born from “fresh” ideas that arise from applying the basic principles of process improvement and re-engineering to turbo systems. Following these philosophies has helped ATP Turbo design and re-design turbocharging components that are reliable, better functioning, and, oftentimes, more simplified than their stock counterparts. ATP products can be purchased as separate components or as a complete kit. For those taking on a larger tuning project, an ATP Turbo kit is certainly the better choice as it has everything you need to get the job done efficiently.

ATP Turbo’s processes rely on the latest equipment and tools to build only the best products in a timely fashion. All of its products are built using the latest high-precision equipment like 4-axis Haas CNC milling stations and lathes. With this, the company is able to switch from prototypes to high-speed production in very little time. What’s more, they are manufactured from high-quality materials to ensure superior durability for longevity and reliability.

ATP’s turbocharging components complement the best turbochargers offered by the aftermarket industry. Garrett Engine Boosting Systems is known for its unsurpassed performance and reliability. Garrett turbo units provide the solid foundation for ATP’s turbocharging applications.
