Plus, we added a mounting brace to keep everything secure, so you don’t have to worry about stress on those boots anymore.

HPS Cold Side Charge Pipe

• Originally, these trucks came with plated steel pipes, and by 2005, they switched to a plastic cold side pipe that was prone to cracking. Our cold side charge pipe is made from mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, which not only reduces weight but also looks good under the hood. If you’ve got an early model with steel pipes, this swap is a no-brainer.

HPS Ultra High Temp 4-ply Aramid Reinforced Fluoro-lined Silicone Boots

• Stock intercooler boots are made from silicone and reinforced with just two layers of polyester. That’s a recipe for disaster, especially with the oil flow these engines deal with. Our boots come with a fluoroelastomer liner that handles the oil without breaking down, and we’ve beefed them up to four layers of Aramid fiber. These can take the heat—up to 500°F—so you can keep your truck running strong.
