Since BMW did not develop a carbon plenum for the S65 similar to the carbon CSL airbox for the S54, Karbonius chose to develop a complete intake system made in carbon fiber with the aim to improve the engine efficiency, sound, as well as the appearance inside the engine bay.
The exclusive Karbonius S65 Carbon Plenum and Intake System has been designed by their engineering team using the most modern technologies with analysis in 3D and in 2D. They have redesigned each component (the plenum, elbow, and air filter cover) managing to optimize the air flow that enters the engine and simultaneously minimize the turbulences inside the airbox system, resulting in a power gain.
Besides the HP gain, the Karbonius Intake System gives the engine an awesome appearance and an astonishing sound.
