Installation Notes

When installing the 358-C camshaft, a valve spring upgrade is necessary. Kelford recommends using the KVS58-BT valve springs to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Additionally, it is crucial to check the clearance of the intake intermediate rockers with the new cam lobes. The OEM pressed steel rockers may exhibit sharp edges that could interfere with the larger cam lobes. If necessary, trim or deburr the rockers to prevent any fouling.
