Who is Koni?

Koni is a company that was founded in 1857 in Oud-Beijerland, Netherlands by A.de Koning. It started as a leather equipment manufacturer for horses. It was only before the second world war broke out that Koni started manufacturing friction type shock absorbers. After the war, they started producing telescopic shock absorbers which are still the common shock absorbers up to now.
