I’ve had mine for a while now, and it’s become a must-have for my Jeep Gladiator JT. Made from either a tough 25 oz pinpoint Black Diamond Sailcloth or the luxurious 30 oz MasterTwill fabric, this top is built to last. Trust me, it's no flimsy piece of gear—it's got reinforced straps and a heavy-duty rubber seal that really helps keep the weather outside where it belongs.
Installation? Super easy. You don't need a toolbox full of gadgets or any extra components. It attaches directly to the factory mounting points on the roll bar with some durable vinyl straps and reinforced buckles. I can put it on or take it off in no time, which is a huge plus when the weather decides to change on a whim.
- The front part of the top fits snugly between the roll bar and windshield, so you won't have to deal with any annoying wrinkles.
- What I really appreciate is the heavy-duty rubber seal under the front windshield. It does a great job of keeping water and debris out during those unexpected downpours.
- Now, just a heads-up: while this top does a fantastic job of blocking the sun and providing some shelter from rain, it’s not completely waterproof. Water can sneak in around the doors and roll bar, so if you’re caught in a heavy storm, you might want to find cover. But for normal driving, it’s perfect.
Plus, it comes with a 3-year limited warranty, which gives you that extra peace of mind. Just remember, if you plan on putting your soft or hard top back on, this one needs to come off first. And if you have a Mopar Sky One-Touch Power Top, this isn’t going to fit your setup.
In short, if you own a Jeep Gladiator JT (2020-2021), the Bimini Plus Summer Top is definitely worth considering. It’s practical, easy to use, and really enhances the open-air driving experience.
