The convenient way to order lug bolts and wheel locks. Contains all the fasteners that you need to install 4 wheels and tires. McGard Lug Bolts are designed & manufactured in the USA. Wheel Lock bolts are designed in USA and manufactured in EU and USA. Presently, McGard is an Original Equipment wheel lock supplier to most automobile brands around the world. McGard lug bolts enhance the look of any wheel! 2-piece design utilizes a free-spinning seat for optimum safety and performance. This design, in conjunction with a proprietary thread coating, protects against galling, helps prevent seized or difficult to remove lug bolts and enhances torque and tension. The chrome with black PVD plating is guaranteed for life not to chip, peel or rust. These easy-to-use, one-piece wheel locks function like regular lug bolts, but require a special key tool for installation and removal. The computer generated key designs allow for an infinite number of key patterns. Every McGard wheel lock is fully machined from restricted chemistry steel made specifically for McGard and through-hardened for its unsurpassed level of security and safety. Replaces M12x1.5 BMW/MINI cone seat lug bolt part number 36-13-6-781-150. For use on Original Equipment cone seat aluminum wheels and Aftermarket cone seat aluminum wheels that use the Original Equipment fasteners. NOT for use when using wheel spacers. Before installing, verify lug/lock bolt thread size, seating surface type (Cone/Radius), shank length and style as recommended by the wheel manufacturer. MINIMUM of 5 1/2 full bolt rotations of engagement required. This product contains globally sourced materials/components.

Who is McGard?

McGard is a company wherein its history started with L.D. McCauley, Inc., and began the business in Buffalo in 1959.

The company specializes in manufacturing precision machining for government contracts to the military and NASA. In the early 1960’s, they designed and patented a security nut that prevents the theft of automobile rims.

From then on, the company focused on manufacturing wheel locks, and McGard was born. Today, they are considered the leading experts for high-quality wheel locks in the market.

In the early 70s, the demand for their products continued to grow. They began supplying Original Equipment Manufacturers products to big automotive brands such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Chrysler.

To the original purchaser McGard LLC warrants its parts, other than chrome plated lug nuts/bolts, against defects of workmanship and materials for a period of one year. To the original purchaser McGard LLC warrants its chrome plated lug nuts/bolts against defects of workmanship and materials for life. Chrome plating on lug nuts/bolts is warranted for life not to chip, peel or rust under normal use and care.

Individual parts suspected of defects must be returned prepaid and adequately packaged to McGard, 3875 California Road, Orchard Park, New York 14127-4198 USA. After inspection, parts will be replaced without charge if found to be defective. Any chrome plated lug nuts/bolts returned under this warranty must be accompanied by proof of purchase. This is the only warranty on McGard products and no other express warranty will be binding on the manufacturer.

Corrosion on parts and/or discoloration of anodized color caps due to neglect, adverse weather or chemicals is not covered by this warranty. Failure to install the nylon plugs for street use into open-end lug nuts may cause corrosion on threads, which is not covered under warranty. This warranty does not cover any item that has been damaged, mutilated, altered, misused, abused or forcibly removed. McGard locks are not guaranteed to be theft proof nor does each set have a unique code. McGard reserves the right to make changes in specifications and design without any prior notice, or incurring responsibility.
