With a compact footprint, the 2Banger is the perfect solution for those tricky spots where full-size pods just won?t fit. Each set comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for universal fitment, and we also offer application-specific mounting bracket kits for Racks and A-Pillars, making installation a breeze on many popular trucks. Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers available?white or yellow output?and four unique beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there?s a 2Banger ready to meet your specific performance needs and driving style.

Versatility

The 2Banger can stand alone or be linked together to create a powerful light bar. Each set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, whether it?s your steel bumper or one of our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. The BangerBar links provide a simple way to connect your Bangers into a custom light bar, where you choose the color of the light, the beam optics, and the radius. Get ready to banish the darkness!

HXB Flood Beam

This beam provides ample ambient light with coverage in every direction, making it ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, back-up lights, or even lighting up your campsite. While flood optics may not project far, they excel at comfortably illuminating your immediate surroundings.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility. If you?re looking for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is your best bet. We use Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs that generate yellow light at the source, effectively cutting through particles in the air without compromising output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method ensures you get the performance you need in challenging weather.

Reliability

We understand that with great power comes great responsibility. That?s why we?ve put in extensive effort to ensure the 2Banger is built for reliability. High power means high heat, which is why we?ve equipped the 2Banger with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you need a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for fog lights, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified as compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are engineered from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and that includes the optional wire harness. Every component has been meticulously designed without cutting corners. The harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
