Forget about generic components; the 2Banger is built with proprietary technology. Using LucidShape, we?ve optimized the performance of the latest, lumen-dense Osram LEDs. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned with SolidWorks to ensure maximum efficiency. With two performance tiers?white or yellow output?and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there?s a 2Banger designed to meet every driving style and performance need.

Versatility

You can mount the 2Banger individually or connect multiple units to create a powerful light bar. Each pod includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, like your steel bumper or one of our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. The BangerBar linking system allows you to customize your light bar?choose your light color, beam optics, and radius, and say goodbye to darkness!

HXB Spot Beam

The HXB Spot beam is a game-changer, illuminating the distance like no other in its class. Equipped with the most powerful Osram LEDs and advanced optics, this beam can reach up to 700 meters ahead of you. With the 2Banger HXB Spots, you?ll have no trouble seeing what lies ahead.

All Weather

For general visibility, the white-output version is perfect. If you?re facing rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version excels in those tricky conditions. Morimoto uses Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs, which produce yellow light at the source, ensuring optimal performance without compromising output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method truly enhances visibility in poor weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve taken every measure to ensure the 2Banger's reliability. High power means high heat, which is why we?ve incorporated a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're in the market for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are designed from the ground up to set a new benchmark in their category. The optional wire harness is equally impressive, with no detail overlooked for cost or simplicity. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
