Each set of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for universal fitment. Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance with the latest lumen-dense LEDs from Osram, and SolidWorks helped us fine-tune thermal dynamics. With two performance tiers?white or yellow output?and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there?s a 2Banger to match every driving style and performance need.

Versatility

Whether you choose to mount the 2Banger alone or link multiple units together for a powerful light bar, the options are endless. Each set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on flat surfaces like your steel bumper, or you can opt for our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. Want to create a custom light bar? Our BangerBar links allow you to combine your Bangers into a bespoke setup, where you choose the light color, beam optics, and radius, effectively banishing the darkness.

NCS Combo Beam

The NCS Combo beam lights up your path with medium-range illumination. This beam pattern strikes the perfect balance between width and distance, making those off-the-beaten-path drives much more enjoyable. The oval hot spot and beam center spread have been expertly tuned to create an ideal flood beam, complementing any high-performance headlights.

All Weather

For all-around visibility, the white-output version is fantastic. If you?re looking for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, the Yellow-output version is your go-to. Our Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs emit yellow light right from the source, providing the best penetration through airborne particles without sacrificing output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method gives you actual performance benefits in challenging weather.

Reliability

High power means high heat, and we?ve taken extensive measures to ensure the 2Banger?s reliability. Featuring a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for optimal heat transfer, the design has undergone numerous rounds of thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, while the gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all built to IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you need a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for fog lights, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified for compliance with the latest SAE-F regulations by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are designed from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and our optional wire harness is no exception. Every component was chosen with care?no corners cut for cost or simplicity. You?ll find a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
