The brand-new, patent-pending 2Banger Off-Road LED Pods have been meticulously designed, engineered, and rigorously tested right here in the USA, taking everything to the next level.

The 2Banger's compact design makes it the ideal choice for adding extra light in tight spots where larger pods just won?t fit. Each set of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for a universal fit. Plus, we offer a range of application-specific mounting bracket kits for Racks and A-Pillars, making installation a breeze for many of today?s popular trucks. Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With two performance options?white or yellow output?and four unique beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there?s a 2Banger designed to meet your specific driving style and performance needs.

Versatility

The 2Banger can stand alone or be linked together to create a powerful light bar. Each set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, like your steel bumper, or you can choose from our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. Our BangerBar links provide a straightforward way to connect your Bangers into a custom light bar, where you can choose the light color, beam optics, and radius. Then, watch as you light up the night!

NCS Wide Beam

This feature illuminates the ground right in front of your vehicle, making it a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. The wide beam significantly enhances visibility to the sides of the road, while superior vertical gradient control helps reduce glare for oncoming traffic. When mounted as fog lights and aimed correctly, they meet the latest SAE standards for safe, legal use on public roads.

All Weather

The white-output version is fantastic for general visibility, while the Yellow-output version excels in rain, snow, or foggy conditions. We?ve chosen Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, which is the most effective way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing output. (Using a yellow lens over white light may look good, but it doesn?t deliver the same performance in poor weather.)

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put in the work to ensure the 2Banger is reliable. High power generates high heat, which is why we?ve equipped the 2Banger with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator, all optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you?re in the market for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as fog lights, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified as compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods have been meticulously developed to set a new standard in their category, and the optional wire harness is no different. We didn?t cut corners on any component for the sake of cost or simplicity. The harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a Yellow-LED backlight.
