Each set of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for a universal fit. Performance

Forget about generic components; every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We've utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned with SolidWorks to ensure efficiency. With two performance tiers?white or yellow output?and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there's a 2Banger to match every driving style and performance need.

Versatility

You can mount the 2Banger alone or link several together to create a powerful light bar. Each set of pods includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on flat surfaces, like your steel bumper, or you can choose from our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. The BangerBar links offer a simple way to connect your Bangers into a custom light bar. You choose the light color, beam optics, and radius, and then you conquer the darkness. NCS Wide Beam

The NCS wide beam illuminates the ground directly in front of your vehicle, making it a fantastic complement to high-performance Morimoto headlights. It produces a broad beam that significantly improves visibility off to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control, it minimizes glare for oncoming traffic. When mounted in the fog light position and aimed correctly, it meets the latest SAE standards for safe, legal use on public roads.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while the yellow-output version shines in rain, snow, or fog?making it a reliable choice for challenging weather conditions. We use Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right at the source, which is the most effective way to cut through particles in the air. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, our approach ensures you get real performance benefits in poor weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we've put a lot of effort into ensuring the 2Banger's reliability. High power means high heat, which is why we've designed a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all built to IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're after a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are designed from the ground up to set a new standard in their segment, and that goes for the optional wire harness too. If you want the best, you've found it. Every component of the harness has been carefully considered, with no corners cut for cost or simplicity. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
