The compact design of the 2Banger makes it the ideal solution for adding extra lighting where larger pods just won't fit. Each set of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for universal fitment. Performance

No generic components here! Every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics were fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers?white or yellow output?and four unique beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there?s a 2Banger to meet every driving style and performance need.

Versatility

The 2Banger isn?t just a standalone powerhouse; it can also be linked together to create a formidable light bar. Each pod set includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, like your steel bumper, or you can opt for our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. With the BangerBar linking system, you can easily bolt your Bangers together into a custom light bar, specifying the light color, beam optics, and radius. Get ready to conquer the darkness!

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot is designed to shine far into the distance, featuring a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. It's perfect for long-range visibility. While it may not be as powerful as the HXB Spot (which uses Osram LEDs), pairing it with NCS Combos ensures you can spot deer well ahead of time.

All Weather

The white-output version provides excellent all-around visibility. For those tricky conditions like rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version excels. Morimoto has chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light from the source, ensuring optimal penetration through airborne particles without sacrificing output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method offers real performance benefits in challenging weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put significant effort into ensuring the reliability of the 2Banger. High power means high heat, which is why we?ve incorporated a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell undergoes electroplating before powder coating to prevent flaking. Our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you need a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are crafted from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and our optional wire harness follows suit. If you?re after the best, you?ve found it. Every component of the harness has been thoughtfully designed without cutting corners for cost or simplicity. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, a specially over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
