The 2Banger boasts a compact design, making it an ideal choice for adding extra light in spots where full-size pods just won?t fit. Each set of Morimoto 2Banger LED pods comes with adjustable pedestal mounts for a universal fit. Plus, we offer a variety of application-specific mounting bracket kits for Racks and A-Pillars, ensuring a seamless installation on many of today's most popular trucks. Performance

Forget about generic components stuffed into fancy housings. Every part of the 2Banger is proprietary. We used LucidShape to fine-tune performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics are optimized with SolidWorks. With two performance tiers offering white or yellow output and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there's a 2Banger for every driving style and performance need.

Versatility

The 2Banger can be mounted individually or linked together to create a powerful light bar. Each set of pods includes universal pedestal mounts for easy installation on any flat surface, like your steel bumper, or you can opt for our application-specific A-Pillar brackets. The BangerBar links offer a straightforward way to connect your Bangers into a custom light bar?where you choose the color, beam optics, and radius. Get ready to brighten up the night!

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot is designed to shine far into the distance. With a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, it?s perfect for long-range visibility. While it may not pack quite as much punch as the HXB Spot (which uses Osram LEDs), pairing it with a set of NCS Combos will help you steer clear of deer on your late-night drives.

All Weather

The white-output version is fantastic for general visibility, but if you often find yourself driving in rain, snow, or fog, the Yellow-output version is your go-to. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs that generate yellow light at the source, effectively cutting through particles in the air without sacrificing output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this approach ensures you get the performance you need in less-than-ideal weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the 2Banger's reliability. High power means high heat, which is why we?ve incorporated a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you're in the market for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified compliant with the latest SAE-F regulations for on-road use by Calcoast Labs in California.

Power Up

The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods are engineered from the ground up to set a new benchmark in their category, and that extends to the optional wire harness as well. Every component of the harness has been meticulously designed without compromise. You?ll find a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, a proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
