Thermal Management

The 2Stroke 4.0 utilizes an upgraded version of the patented cooling system first introduced with the 3.0 bulbs. This innovative cooling mechanism employs a 12,000-rpm dual-layer fan to draw cool air into the bulb and expel warm air back into the housing. Cold air flows in past the PCB sidewall to exchange heat, while warm air is blown out the opposite side. This not only cools the bulb but also raises the ambient temperature inside the housing, helping to prevent snow and ice buildup on the lens during winter. With greater static pressure than the previous version, the cooling system on the 2Stroke 4.0 enhances the bulb's longevity while providing a unique bad-weather advantage.
