Thanks to the powerful Osram HX Boost LEDs and the proper vertical gradient, these lights are the brightest SAE-Compliant fog light pods on the market today?80% brighter than Rigid D-Series SAE Fog lights, with photometrics verified by Calcoast ITL. We don?t believe in ??off-the-shelf?? components here. Every part of the 4Banger HXB is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram, and we?ve fine-tuned thermal dynamics using SolidWorks. The 4Banger HXB is available in three industry-leading beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo. And yes, it?s patent pending!

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for all-around visibility, while the Yellow-output version excels in rain, snow, or fog?ideal for those tricky weather conditions. We?ve chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, ensuring they cut through air particles without sacrificing performance. Forget filtering white light through a yellow lens; this is the real deal!

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility. We've put in extensive effort to ensure the 4Banger's reliability. High power means high heat, which is why it features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through numerous rounds of thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket all meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Each set of Morimoto 4Banger LED pods comes with pedestal mounts for universal fitment. We also offer various application-specific mounting bracket kits for fog lights and A-Pillars, making installation a breeze for many of today?s most popular trucks. Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you?re after a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, both the NCS and HXB Wide beam models meet SAE J583 compliance. Just a heads up?some localities require auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving. For that, we offer optional Blackout Covers that fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods. They install easily and can be removed in seconds!

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods have been developed from the ground up to set a new standard in their segment. The optional wire harness is no exception. We didn?t cut any corners here; every component was crafted with care. You?ll find a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with a yellow LED backlight.
