NCS Spot Beam

Need to see far ahead? The NCS Spot is your go-to! It features a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, making it perfect for long-range visibility. While it may not pack quite the punch as the 4Banger HXB Spot (which uses Osram LEDs), pairing it with a set of NCS Combos will ensure you can spot deer from a distance without any issues.

Form Meets Function

The 4Banger NCS boasts a footprint that's about 30% smaller than other options that offer similar performance. This means you get an unbeatable OEM+ fit when paired with Morimoto's fog light or A-Pillar mounting kits, designed for today?s most popular trucks. You won?t be that person with LED pods awkwardly sticking out of your bumper!

Performance

No generic parts here! Every component of the 4Banger NCS is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia, and SolidWorks helped us fine-tune thermal dynamics. Plus, the 4Banger NCS comes with three industry-leading beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo. And yes, it?s patent pending!

All-Weather Ready

Our white-output version is perfect for all-around visibility, while the Yellow-output version is a game changer in rain, snow, or fog. We chose Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right from the source, ensuring the best performance in challenging weather. This approach beats filtering white light through a yellow lens, which doesn?t actually improve visibility.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We?ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the reliability of these lights. High power means high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all built to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Plus, we offer a variety of application-specific mounting bracket kits for fog lights and A-Pillars, making installation a breeze for many popular trucks.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. If you?re on the hunt for a high-performance, street-legal LED pod for use as a fog light, both the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models meet the latest SAE F regulations. Some areas require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving, so we offer optional Blackout Covers designed to fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods. They install easily and can be removed in seconds!

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods have been developed from the ground up to set a new standard in their segment, and the same goes for the optional wire harness. Each component is crafted with care, ensuring no detail was overlooked. You?ll find a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, a proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.
