Our brand-new, patent-pending BigBanger off-road LED Pods are designed, engineered, and rigorously tested right here in the USA, and they're truly in a league of their own.

Versatility

The BigBanger can be mounted solo or linked together to create a powerful light bar. Each pod comes with a universal mounting bracket, making installation a breeze on any flat surface, whether it's your steel bumper or one of the many application-specific A-Pillar brackets we offer. Want to take it a step further? Our BangerBar links allow you to connect your Bangers into a custom light bar, letting you choose everything from the light color to beam optics and radius. Get ready to banish the darkness!

Performance

This isn't just another light; it's big, robust, and worth every penny. When you're out on the trail at night, the BigBanger stands toe-to-toe with the best brands in the industry. Every detail has been meticulously designed to maximize light output without compromise. We used LucidShape to optimize performance with the latest, high-lumen LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Thermal dynamics were fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers, two beam patterns (spot or combo), and two colors (white or yellow), there's a BigBanger ready to meet even the most demanding performance needs.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam lights up your path in every direction. The HXB Combo beam offers a remarkable balance of width and distance illumination, making those dark drives in the middle of nowhere much more comfortable. The powerful hot spot is complemented by a generous amount of width and height, perfectly tuned for all-around visibility.

Amber Back Light

Every BigBanger Pod comes standard with an amber backlight. While it doesn't provide forward illumination, the daytime brightness is impressive enough that it dims by 90% at night, preventing glare for oncoming traffic. The dual-intensity control for the backlight is part of our optional BigBanger-specific wire harness, designed to manage all modes on two pods.

Power Up

The Morimoto BigBanger LED Pods have been meticulously developed to set a new benchmark in their category, and our optional wire harnesses follow suit. This harness effortlessly controls the pods and their dual-intensity backlight. No detail was spared for the sake of cost or simplicity: a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-4S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility. If you need optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is your best bet. Morimoto has chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, which is the most effective way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing output. (Filtering white light through a yellow lens may look good, but it doesn't deliver the performance you need in poor weather.)

Reliability

With power comes responsibility, and we?ve put in the work to ensure the BigBangers are built to last. High power means high heat, which is why our platform is constructed around a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. We've optimized this through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.
