Versatility

The BigBanger offers incredible flexibility; you can mount it individually or link multiple pods together to create a powerful light bar. Each pod comes with a universal mounting bracket, making installation a breeze on any flat surface, whether it?s your steel bumper or one of the many application-specific A-Pillar brackets we provide. With our BangerBar links, you can easily bolt your Bangers together into a custom light bar. You choose the light color, the beam optics, and the radius?then watch as you obliterate the darkness!

This isn?t just any light; it?s big, robust, and worth every penny. When you're out on the trail at night, the BigBanger stands toe-to-toe with the best brands in the business. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to maximize light output. Using LucidShape, we?ve optimized performance around the most modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned with SolidWorks. With two performance tiers, two beam patterns (spot or combo), and two colors (white or yellow), there?s a BigBanger that meets your toughest performance demands.

HXB Spot Beam

The BigBanger HXB spot is a true powerhouse designed for high-speed driving in the dark. No matter how fast you go, you?ll never outrun its ability to penetrate up to 800 meters into the distance. With over a half million Candela, nothing else on the market comes close to the BigBanger HXB spot. To give you an idea of its power, our 4Banger HXB wide beam is the brightest pod in its class, boasting an impressive output of 22,000 CD.

Amber Back Light

Each BigBanger Pod comes standard with an amber backlight. While this feature doesn?t provide forward illumination, its daytime brightness is so intense that it automatically dims by 90% at night to prevent glare for oncoming traffic. The dual-intensity control for the backlight is integrated into our optional BigBanger-specific wire harness, designed to manage all modes across two pods.

Power Up

The Morimoto BigBanger LED Pods have been meticulously developed to set a new benchmark in their category, and the optional wire harnesses are no exception. This harness allows for easy control of the pods and their dual-intensity backlight. We?ve spared no expense in ensuring every component is top-quality. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-4S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while the yellow-output version excels in rain, snow, or fog. Morimoto has chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that generate yellow light at the source, providing the best penetration through airborne particles without sacrificing output. This is far superior to filtering white light through a yellow lens, which offers no real performance benefit in adverse weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put in extensive work to ensure the BigBangers are reliable. High power generates high heat, which is why the platform is built around a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for optimal heat transfer to the radiator. This has been fine-tuned through numerous rounds of thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves all meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.
