Our new, patent-pending BigBanger off-road LED Pods have been meticulously designed, engineered, and tested right here in the USA, and they truly represent the next level in lighting technology.

Versatility

The BigBanger is all about flexibility! You can mount it solo or connect multiple pods to create a powerful light bar. Each pod comes with a universal mounting bracket, making it easy to install on any flat surface, whether that?s your steel bumper or one of our various A-Pillar brackets. With the BangerBar links, you can easily bolt your Bangers together into a custom light bar, where you choose the color of the light, the beam optics, and the radius. Get ready to light up the night!

Performance

This pod is big, heavy, and yes, a bit pricey?but trust us, there?s nothing else out there that can compete. When you?re out on the trail after dark, the BigBanger holds its own against the best brands in the business. Every detail has been crafted to maximize light output without compromise. We?ve utilized LucidShape to optimize performance with the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers, two beam patterns (spot or combo), and two colors (white or yellow), there?s a BigBanger ready to meet your toughest performance demands.

HXB Spot Beam

The BigBanger HXB spot is a true powerhouse for high-speed nighttime driving. No matter how fast you go, you won?t outpace its ability to illuminate up to 800 meters ahead. With a staggering output of over half a million Candela, nothing else on the market can match the BigBanger HXB spot. To put it in perspective, our 4Banger HXB wide beam is the brightest pod in its class, delivering an impressive 22,000 Candela.

Amber Back Light

All BigBanger Pods come standard with an amber backlight. While it doesn?t provide forward illumination, the daytime setting is so bright that it dims by 90% at night to prevent glare for oncoming traffic. The dual-intensity control for the backlight is integrated into our optional BigBanger-specific wire harness, designed to manage all modes across two pods.

Power Up

The Morimoto BigBanger LED Pods are crafted from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and our optional wire harnesses are no different. This harness is designed to easily control the pods and their dual-intensity backlight. We haven?t skimped on any component for the sake of cost or simplicity. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-4S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while those who crave optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog will love the yellow-output version. Morimoto has chosen phosphor-converted yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, which is the best way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing output. (Filtering white light through a yellow lens may look good, but it doesn?t deliver the performance you need in poor weather.)

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the BigBangers are reliable. High power generates high heat, which is why our platform is built around a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that optimizes heat transfer to the radiator, refined through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, our gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.
