Engineered Fitment

We know how frustrating it can be to deal with installation headaches. That?s why Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing right on the truck. Everything aligns perfectly with existing mounting points, ensuring a modification-free installation. We?ve seen some pretty poor fitments from other brands during our development process, and we?re committed to delivering something that just works.

Branches Beware

Our brackets are built tough! Each one is laser cut from 304 stainless steel, then electroplated and powder-coated for durability. Trust us, the side mirrors on your Silverado will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of strain.

All Weather

Need visibility in any weather? The white-output version is perfect for general use, while the Yellow-output version excels in rainy, snowy, or foggy conditions. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs to produce yellow light right at the source, ensuring optimal performance in challenging weather. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, our approach maximizes visibility without sacrificing output.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We?ve put in the hard work to ensure our product is reliable. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that efficiently transfers heat to the radiator, thanks to extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking, while the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No one likes messy wiring! That?s why we?ve integrated several mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to keep your LED pod wiring tidy as it moves into the engine bay. You can easily plug in with Morimoto?s switched relay wire harness for a clean and reliable installation.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam offers a perfect balance of width and distance, making your daily drives through remote areas much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread has been expertly tuned to create an ideal flood beam, complementing any set of high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Need to see far ahead? The HXB Spot beam is unmatched in distance illumination. Powered by the most potent Osram LEDs, it creates a beam pattern that can reach up to 800 meters, ensuring you?ll never outrun your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam shines light directly in front of your vehicle, and its dual-axis control gives you the ability to adjust both width and peak intensity. The vertical gradient mimics an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, making the 4Banger HXB Wide beam the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable driving in isolated areas. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam.

NCS Spot Beam

For long-range visibility, the NCS Spot features a focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. While it may not be as powerful as the HXB Spot, it pairs beautifully with NCS Combos to help you spot deer from a distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam shines light right in front of your vehicle, enhancing visibility to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control to reduce glare for oncoming traffic, the NCS Wide Beam is compliant with the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods set a new standard in their category, and the optional wire harness is no different. Every component has been carefully crafted without compromise. Enjoy features like a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Some areas may require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. For that, we offer optional Blackout Covers that fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods, easily installed and removed in seconds.
