Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2009-2018 Dodge Ram, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure a perfect fit. Everything aligns with existing mounting points, allowing for a truly modification-free installation. We know this is a must-have, but you'd be surprised by the poor fitment we encountered from other popular brands during our development process?it was quite the eye-opener!

Each bracket is crafted from 304 stainless steel, laser cut, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. Trust us, your Ram's side mirrors will take a beating long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear.

All Weather

For all-around visibility, the white-output version is perfect. If you often drive in rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is your best bet. Morimoto uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right at the source, making it highly effective in penetrating through particles in the air without sacrificing output. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method ensures you get the performance you need in challenging weather conditions.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put in the effort to ensure this product is reliable. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator, which has been optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We've added multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket's stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods down into the engine bay. From there, simply plug and play with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a clean, reliable installation.

Performance

Just like the brackets, every component of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. Choose from three industry-leading beam patterns to suit your specific needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

Beam Patterns

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range, providing a perfect mix of width and distance. The 8H x 4V oval hotspot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center is finely tuned to produce an ideal flood beam, making your daily drives in remote areas much more comfortable. The 4Banger HXB Combo is an excellent companion to any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Need to see far into the distance? The HXB Spot is unmatched in the market. Equipped with powerful Osram LEDs and advanced optics, it creates a beam pattern that can reach up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you?re going, you?ll always have a clear view with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam is designed to light up the ground right in front of your vehicle. The HXB Optics feature dual-axis control for width and active hotspot control, projecting peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam offers the best combination of width, intensity, and control, making it the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a clear path with medium range and a blend of width and distance illumination. The 8H x 4V oval hotspot is perfectly tuned for optimal flood beam performance, making it a fantastic addition to any high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot is all about long-range visibility. With a focused 5-degree hotspot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, it?s the ideal choice for those who need to see far ahead. While it may not pack the same punch as the 4Banger HXB Spot, pairing it with NCS Combos will help you avoid any surprises on the road.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the area right in front of your vehicle, making it a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. It produces a wide beam to significantly improve visibility off to the sides of the road. Superior vertical gradient control minimizes glare for oncoming traffic, and when properly aimed, the beam pattern meets the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods have been meticulously developed to set a new standard in their category, including the optional wire harness. Every component of the harness has been carefully designed without cutting corners. Enjoy features like a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. The Wide beam model meets SAE J583 standards for use as fog lamps. Some areas require auxiliary lights to be covered during everyday driving. To comply, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods easily and can be removed in a snap.
