Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2021+ Ford F-150, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has gone through extensive design, prototyping, and testing directly on the truck to guarantee perfect compatibility. Everything aligns with existing mounting points, ensuring an installation that requires no modifications. We know this should be a given, but the fitment issues we faced with other popular brands during development were astonishing!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is expertly laser cut from durable 304 stainless steel and then powder-coated for added protection. Simply put, the side mirrors on your F-150 will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear.

Wiring Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve included multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to keep the input wiring from your LED pods neatly directed into the engine bay. From there, it?s a breeze to plug in with Morimoto?s switched relay wire harness for a tidy and reliable setup.

Compatibility

While designed to work flawlessly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from various other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

All Weather Performance

Choose the white-output version for all-around visibility, or go for the yellow-output version that excels in rain, snow, or fog. Morimoto has selected Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, which produce yellow light at the source, ensuring optimal performance in challenging weather conditions. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this design maximizes visibility without compromising output.

Reliability

With great power comes a great need for reliability. We've invested significant effort into ensuring our product stands the test of time. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that optimizes heat transfer to the radiator, meticulously analyzed through thermal assessments. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, while the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are crafted to meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Performance

Every aspect of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is offered with three leading beam patterns to suit all your needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range, blending width and distance illumination for a comfortable driving experience, even in remote areas. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the center creates an ideal flood beam, making it a great companion to any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

For those who need to see far ahead, the HXB Spot shines brighter than anything else available. Featuring the most powerful Osram LEDs, this beam pattern can penetrate up to 800 meters, ensuring you?ll never outrun your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam focuses on illuminating the ground right in front of your vehicle. With dual-axis control for width and active hot spot management, the HXB optics resemble an SAE-compliant fog light pattern, but with enhanced intensity thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam is the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are engineered to set a new benchmark in their category, and the optional wire harness follows suit. Every component was carefully selected without compromise. Expect a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber-LED backlight.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams adhere to SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam model complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Some regions might require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. For this, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods perfectly, allowing for easy installation and removal.
