Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure flawless compatibility. Everything aligns perfectly with existing mounting points, guaranteeing a modification-free installation. We know that this should be a standard, but you wouldn?t believe the poor fit we encountered from other brands during development?it was truly surprising!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is crafted from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated. Simply put, your F-150's side mirrors will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of weakness.

All Weather

Our white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while the yellow-output version shines in rain, snow, or fog?making it a champion in tricky weather conditions. We use Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right at the source, ensuring maximum performance without compromising visibility. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this method truly enhances your visibility in poor weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We?ve put a lot of effort into ensuring the reliability of our product. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that efficiently transfers heat to the radiator, optimized through rigorous thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking, while the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve integrated multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket?s stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods down into the engine bay. After that, simply plug and play with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a clean, reliable installation.

Performance

Every component of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We've optimized performance using LucidShape, focusing on the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available in three top-notch beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range, blending width and distance illumination for comfortable driving in remote areas. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the center has been expertly tuned to create an ideal flood beam, making the HXB Combo an excellent companion for any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Need to see far ahead? The HXB Spot is unmatched, featuring powerful Osram LEDs that, along with the HXB LED optics, create a beam capable of reaching up to 800 meters. No matter how fast you?re going, you?ll never lose sight with the 4Banger HXB Spots!

HXB Wide Beam

This beam lights up the ground right in front of your vehicle. The HXB Optics offer dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity at the top of the beam pattern. With a design that mimics an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern, the 4Banger HXB Wide beam is the ultimate off-road LED fog light, combining width, intensity, and control.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination, ensuring comfortable driving in the middle of nowhere. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the center is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam, making it a fantastic addition to high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

For long-range visibility, the NCS Spot features a focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. While it may not match the 4Banger HXB Spot's power, pairing it with NCS Combos ensures you can easily spot deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the ground directly in front of your vehicle, making it a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. It produces a wide beam that significantly improves visibility to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control, it minimizes glare for oncoming traffic, and when mounted correctly, it meets the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are designed to set a new standard in their category, including the optional wire harness. Every detail has been meticulously crafted, from the triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay to the over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse. With DT06-2S female outputs featuring dual seals and stainless steel power and ground terminals, plus a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight, you?re getting top-notch quality.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our superior A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Some areas require auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving, and our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods easily, installing and removing in seconds.
