Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure a perfect fit. Everything aligns perfectly with existing mounting points, allowing for a truly modification-free installation. We know this sounds basic, but you wouldn?t believe the poor fitment we encountered from other brands during development?it was astonishing!

Branches Beware

Our brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated. In simple terms, your Super Duty's side mirrors will give up long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear!

All Weather Performance

The white-output version is fantastic for general visibility, while the Yellow-output version is a game-changer in rain, snow, or foggy conditions. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light right from the source. This is the most effective way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing brightness. (Remember, filtering white light through a yellow lens might look good, but it doesn?t offer real performance benefits in tough weather.)

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We?ve put in the hard work to ensure this product is reliable. High power means high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. This has been fine-tuned through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve added multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods into the engine bay. From there, you can easily plug in with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a tidy and reliable installation.

Performance

Every component of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are crafted to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been optimized using SolidWorks. The 4Banger comes with three industry-leading beam patterns to meet all your lighting needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range, offering a perfect blend of width and distance. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center is finely tuned to create an ideal flood beam. The 4Banger HXB Combo is an excellent companion to any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Shining far into the distance, the HXB Spot is unmatched in the market. Featuring the most powerful Osram LEDs, combined with HXB LED optics, this beam can penetrate up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you're going, you won?t outpace your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots!

HXB Wide Beam

This beam shines directly in front of your vehicle. The HXB Optics feature dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam is the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam offers a clear path with medium range, blending width and distance illumination for comfortable driving in remote areas. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center is expertly tuned for optimal flood lighting.

NCS Spot Beam

This beam is designed for long-range visibility, featuring a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. While it may not be as powerful as the HXB Spot, when paired with NCS Combos, you'll have no trouble spotting deer from afar.

NCS Wide Beam

Illuminating the ground right in front of your vehicle, these beams are a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. They produce a wide beam that significantly enhances visibility to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control to minimize glare for oncoming traffic, both NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are compliant with the latest SAE F regulation for use as street-legal fog lights.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods have been crafted from the ground up to set a new standard, and the optional wire harness is no exception. Every component was chosen with care, ensuring top quality. Features include a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam model complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. In some areas, auxiliary lights need to be covered for everyday driving. To comply, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods and can be easily installed or removed in seconds.
