Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure perfect compatibility. Everything aligns seamlessly with pre-existing mounting points, making installation a breeze?no modifications needed. We know this should be standard practice, but you'd be surprised by the poor fitment we encountered from other well-known brands during development. It was quite the eye-opener!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. Simply put, the side mirrors on your Wrangler JK will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while the yellow-output version excels in rainy, snowy, or foggy conditions. We?ve chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, which is the best way to cut through particles in the air without sacrificing brightness. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, which merely changes the color without improving performance, our approach ensures you get the most effective lighting in challenging weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility, and we?ve put a lot of thought into making sure our product is reliable. High power means high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator. This has been optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, while the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket meet IP69K standards for complete weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve integrated multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the stem of the bracket to guide the input wiring from your LED pods down into the engine bay. From there, you can easily plug in Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a tidy and reliable installation.

Every aspect of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary, designed for top-notch performance. Using LucidShape, we?ve optimized the setup around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are crafted to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available with three industry-leading beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path at medium range, blending width and distance to make everyday driving in remote areas much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam, making the 4Banger HXB Combo a fantastic companion for any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Need to see far into the distance? The HXB Spot is unmatched in its capability. Equipped with the most powerful Osram LEDs, it produces a beam pattern that can reach up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you're going, you won't outpace your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam lights up the ground right in front of your vehicle. The HXB optics feature dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-compliant fog light pattern, with added intensity thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam offers the best combination of width, intensity, and control, making it the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, the NCS Combo beam provides a mix of width and distance illumination, ensuring comfortable driving even in the middle of nowhere. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread is finely tuned for optimal flood lighting, making the 4Banger NCS Combo an excellent addition to any set of high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot is designed for long-range visibility, featuring a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. While it may not be as powerful as the 4Banger HXB Spot, when paired with NCS Combos, you'll have no trouble spotting deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the ground directly in front of your vehicle, making it a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. It produces a wide beam that significantly improves visibility off to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control, it minimizes glare for oncoming traffic. When set up as fog lights and aimed correctly, the beam patterns from both NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with the latest SAE F regulations for street-legal fog lights.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are built from the ground up to set a new standard in their class, and the optional wire harness follows suit. Every component was meticulously crafted without compromising on quality or simplicity. Enjoy a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Some areas may require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. To comply, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods easily and can be removed in seconds.
