Engineered Fitment

The Morimoto A-Pillar kit for the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing directly on the vehicle to ensure a perfect fit. Everything aligns seamlessly with existing mounting points, guaranteeing a modification-free installation. We know this should be standard, but you wouldn?t believe the poor fitment we encountered from other brands during development?it was truly surprising!

Each bracket is laser cut from durable 304 stainless steel, then electroplated and powder-coated for extra resilience. Simply put, the side mirrors on your Wrangler JL will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear!

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for general visibility, while the yellow-output version excels in rain, snow, or foggy conditions. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the source, making them incredibly effective at cutting through particles in the air without sacrificing brightness. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, this approach offers real performance benefits in challenging weather.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility. We?ve put in a lot of effort to ensure this product is reliable. High power means high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that efficiently transfers heat to the radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking, and the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket all meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve included multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods neatly into the engine bay. From there, simply plug in with Morimoto?s switched relay wire harness for a tidy and dependable installation.

Performance

Every component of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. The optics are crafted to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available in three top-notch beam patterns to meet all your needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam lights up a clear path with medium range. The HXB Combo beam strikes a perfect balance between width and distance, making your daily drives in remote areas much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the center is expertly tuned for an ideal flood beam. It?s an excellent complement to any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Illuminate far into the distance like never before! The HXB Spot features the most powerful Osram LEDs, combined with HXB LED optics, producing a beam pattern that can reach up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you?re going, you won?t outrun your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam shines directly in front of your vehicle. The HXB Optics offer dual-axis control: one for width and another for active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam is the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a medium range of illumination with a great blend of width and distance. The tuning of the 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread ensures a perfect flood beam, making it a fantastic addition to any high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

This beam offers impressive long-range visibility. The NCS Spot features a focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, making it a formidable choice for spotting distant obstacles. While it may not match the power of the 4Banger HXB Spot, pairing it with NCS Combos will help you keep an eye out for deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

Perfect for illuminating the ground right in front of your vehicle, this beam complements high-performance Morimoto headlights beautifully. It produces a broad beam that significantly enhances visibility to the sides of the road. Its superior vertical gradient control minimizes glare for oncoming traffic. When mounted correctly in the fog light position, the beam pattern meets the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights.

Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are designed to set a new standard in their category, and the optional wire harness is no exception. Every component was carefully selected for quality, not cost. You?ll find a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from many other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. The Wide beam model meets SAE J583 standards for fog lamps. Some areas may require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. To meet this requirement, our optional Blackout Covers easily fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods and can be installed or removed in seconds.
