Engineered Fitment

We?ve designed Morimoto's A-Pillar kit specifically for the 2019+ Ram HD, putting it through rigorous testing to guarantee a perfect fit. Everything aligns seamlessly with existing mounting points, making installation a hassle-free experience. We know this is a basic expectation, but you wouldn?t believe the poor fitment we saw from other popular brands during our development. It was quite surprising!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is crafted from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated. In simpler terms, your Ram's side mirrors might give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of wear.

All Weather

Our white-output version is perfect for everyday visibility, while the yellow-output version excels in rain, snow, or foggy conditions. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that create yellow light right from the source, ensuring optimal performance in tricky weather. Unlike filtering white light through a yellow lens, which doesn't help in bad conditions, our approach guarantees you can see clearly.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We've dedicated extensive effort to ensure this product's reliability. High power means high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat transfer to the radiator. This has been optimized through thorough thermal analysis. Plus, the cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking, while the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

Say goodbye to messy wiring! We?ve integrated multiple mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket's stem to direct the input wiring from your LED pods neatly down into the engine bay. From there, simply plug in with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a clean and reliable installation.

Performance

Every aspect of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We utilized LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. The optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned with SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available with three industry-leading beam patterns to meet all your lighting needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path at medium range, blending width and distance to make everyday driving in remote areas much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center has been perfectly tuned to create an ideal flood beam, making the 4Banger HXB Combo a fantastic companion to any high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

For those who need to see far into the distance, the HXB Spot is unmatched. Equipped with the most powerful Osram LEDs, this beam pattern can reach up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you're going, you'll always have a clear view with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam focuses on illuminating the ground right in front of your vehicle. The HXB optics offer dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam delivers an incredible combination of width, intensity, and control, making it the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a great mix of width and distance illumination, ensuring you feel comfortable driving in remote areas. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam, complementing any high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot shines well into the distance with a focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. It's the perfect tool for long-range visibility. While it may not be as powerful as the 4Banger HXB Spot, when paired with NCS Combos, you'll have no trouble spotting deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the ground directly in front of your vehicle, making it an excellent addition to high-performance Morimoto headlights. The wide beam significantly improves visibility to the sides of the road, while superior vertical gradient control minimizes glare for oncoming traffic. When mounted in the fog light position and aimed correctly, both the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are designed to set a new standard in their category, and the optional wire harness is no exception. Every component has been carefully considered for quality and performance. The harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with amber-LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our outstanding A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from various other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam model complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Some areas may require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. For compliance, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods and can be easily installed or removed in seconds.
