Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2003-2021 Toyota 4Runner, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing directly on the vehicle. Everything aligns perfectly with existing mounting points, ensuring a truly modification-free installation. We know this is a basic requirement, but you wouldn?t believe the poor fitment we encountered from other well-known brands during development?it was mind-blowing!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is laser-cut from durable 304 stainless steel, then electroplated and powder-coated for extra protection. Trust us, the side mirrors on your 4Runner will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of flexing!

All Weather

For all-around visibility, the white-output version is fantastic. But if you're facing rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is your best friend in tricky weather. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs that emit yellow light right from the source, making them incredibly effective at cutting through the elements without compromising performance. Filtering white light through a yellow lens may look nice, but it doesn't offer the same benefits in poor conditions.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We put in a lot of effort to ensure this product is reliable. High power generates high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator?optimized through extensive thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. Plus, the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We've included several mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods down into the engine bay. From there, you can easily plug and play with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a clean and reliable setup.

Every detail of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is specially designed for top-notch performance. LucidShape software was used to optimize the setup around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. The optics meet world-class standards, and the thermal dynamics have been finely tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available with three industry-leading beam patterns to meet all your needs: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

Need a clear path with medium range? The HXB Combo beam strikes the perfect balance between width and distance, making your daily drives in remote areas much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot, with a 10V degree spread at the beam center, has been perfectly tuned to create an ideal flood beam. The 4Banger HXB Combo is a fantastic complement to any set of high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Want to see far into the distance? The HXB Spot is unmatched in the market! Equipped with powerful Osram LEDs, it creates a beam pattern that can reach up to 800 meters ahead. No matter how fast you're going, you'll never outpace your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the ground right in front of your vehicle. The HXB Optics feature dual-axis control: one for width and the other for active hot spot control, projecting peak intensity right at the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern, but with added intensity thanks to Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam offers the ultimate combination of width, intensity, and control, making it the best off-road LED fog light available.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, the NCS Combo beam provides excellent medium-range illumination. Its 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam, making it a great partner for high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot boasts a highly focused 5-degree hot spot, surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, making it perfect for long-range visibility. While it may not be as powerful as the 4Banger HXB Spot, when paired with NCS Combos, you'll have no trouble spotting deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam lights up the ground right in front of your vehicle, making it an ideal match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. With a very wide beam, it significantly improves visibility to the sides of the road. Superior vertical gradient control minimizes glare for oncoming traffic, and when mounted correctly in the fog light position, it meets the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods are designed to set a new standard, and the optional wire harness is no exception. Every component was carefully considered, without cutting corners for cost or simplicity. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with a hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from various other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When properly aimed, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. The Wide beam model meets SAE J583 standards for fog lamps. Keep in mind that some areas require auxiliary lights to be covered during everyday driving. For compliance, our optional Blackout Covers fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods easily and can be removed in seconds.
