Engineered Fitment

Designed specifically for the 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra, Morimoto's A-Pillar kit has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure a flawless fit. Everything aligns perfectly with existing mounting points, allowing for a truly modification-free installation. We know this is a basic requirement, but you?d be surprised at the poor fitment we found with other brands during development?it was astonishing!

Branches Beware

Each bracket is crafted from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and then powder-coated. Simply put, the side mirrors on your Tundra will give way long before our A-Pillar kit shows any signs of flexing.

All Weather

The white-output version is perfect for all-around visibility. If you?re looking for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, the yellow-output version is your best friend in tricky weather. Morimoto has chosen Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, which produce yellow light right at the source, making them incredibly effective at cutting through particles in the air without sacrificing brightness. Filtering white light through a yellow lens might look good, but it doesn?t deliver the same performance in poor conditions.

Reliability

With great power comes great responsibility! We put a lot of effort into ensuring the reliability of our product. High power can mean high heat, which is why the 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator. This has been optimized through multiple rounds of thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to prevent flaking. Plus, the potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.

Wiring and Cable Management

No messy wiring here! We?ve included several mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket?s stem to guide the input wiring from your LED pods down into the engine bay. From there, you can easily plug and play with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for a clean and reliable installation.

Performance

Just like our brackets, every aspect of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. We used LucidShape to optimize performance around the latest, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Our optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been fine-tuned using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available in three industry-leading beam patterns to meet every need: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo.

HXB Combo Beam

This beam illuminates a clear path with medium range. The HXB Combo beam offers a fantastic blend of width and distance, making those off-the-beaten-path drives much more comfortable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at the beam center is perfectly tuned to create an ideal flood beam. The 4Banger HXB Combo is a great companion to any set of high-performance headlights.

HXB Spot Beam

Need to see far ahead? The HXB Spot does just that, unlike anything else on the market. Equipped with the most powerful Osram LEDs, this beam pattern can reach up to 800 meters ahead. At any speed, you?ll never outrun your ability to see with the 4Banger HXB Spots.

HXB Wide Beam

This beam lights up the ground right in front of your vehicle. With dual-axis control for width and active hot spot control, it projects peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The vertical gradient resembles an SAE-Compliant fog light pattern but with added intensity, thanks to the Osram HX Boost LEDs. The 4Banger HXB Wide beam combines width, intensity, and control, making it the ultimate off-road LED fog light.

NCS Combo Beam

Similar to the HXB Combo, this beam provides a clear path with medium range. It offers a fantastic mix of width and distance illumination, making your everyday drives in remote areas much more enjoyable. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread is perfectly tuned for an ideal flood beam, making the 4Banger NCS Combo a great addition to any high-performance headlights.

NCS Spot Beam

The NCS Spot shines well into the distance with its highly focused 5-degree hot spot, surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam. This makes it perfect for long-range visibility. While it may not be as powerful as the 4Banger HXB Spot, when paired with NCS Combos, you?ll have no trouble spotting deer in the distance.

NCS Wide Beam

This beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, making it a perfect match for high-performance Morimoto headlights. It produces a wide beam that significantly improves visibility off to the sides of the road. With superior vertical gradient control to reduce glare for oncoming traffic, the beam pattern from both NCS and HXB Wide Beam models has been verified compliant with the latest SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Power Up

The Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods have been designed from the ground up to set a new standard in their category, and the same goes for the optional wire harness. If you?re after the best, look no further. Every component of the harness has been carefully considered without cutting corners. It features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, a unique over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch with an amber LED backlight.

Compatibility

While they pair perfectly with the 4Banger LED pods, our top-notch A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from various other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.

Street Legality

When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, while the Wide beam model meets SAE J583 standards for fog lamps. Keep in mind that some areas require auxiliary lights to be covered during regular driving. To comply, you can use our optional Blackout Covers, designed to fit all Morimoto 4Banger LED Pods. They install easily with a friction + clip fit and can be removed in seconds.
