The Motobilt Gladius Rear Bumper for Jeep JT Gladiator was built to be compact and strong for the extreme off-roader. The bumper is designed in CAD to stay high and tight to the body to allow for the maximum clearance while off-roading. This Motobilt Jeep Gladiator bumper will require removing the factory hitch, but as a result will increase the ground clearance by 5" and increase the departure angle. The Motobilt Gladius Rear Bumper for Jeep JT Gladiator is completely bolt in and requires no modifications to the jeep.
Included are Four (4) park sensor cut outs and our all new bolt-in Park Sensor Mounts for the Jeep Gladiators factory rear park sensors, which are designed to position your park sensors in nearly the stock position, for reliability and performance. You can 100% reuse your factory wiring harness for the rear park sensors and use the wiring to add on an optional Off-Road Only license plate light.
Our bumper does not reuse the factory tag/license plate lights, rather, we recommend using an aftermarket LED tag/license plate light kit like our optional #LD-PL6 Offroad Only Litedot Tag Light with 6 Foot Dis-connectable Harness. Splicing of the factory wiring tag/license plate lights is required for this light.
Our 3/4" thick high grade steel D-Ring mounts are designed to pass through the shell of the bumper and are fully welded both inside and outside. Our D-Ring mounts are inline with the frame rails of the vehicle for added structural strength when using as a recovery point while on the trail. The D-Rings mounts feature a 1" diameter hole for adding heavy duty recovery shackles (not included).
Each of our American made bumpers are meticulously metal finished, ground, sanded and inspected with pride for a superior level of quality and craftsmanship. As with all of our bumpers it ships bare steel.
