The Jeep JK/JKU/JL/JLU was designed with a fuel tank that is mounted on the passenger side. Many custom Jeep builders will relocate the fuel tank to the rear of the vehicle which makes room for a true 4 link rear suspension system. The MB5515 JK/JKU/JL/JLU/JT/TJ Weld-On Fuel Pump Mount Kit is ideal for the builder who wants to design and fabricate their own custom built aluminum fuel tank or aluminum fuel cell, yet still have the reliability of utilizing the factory JK, TJ, JL, or JT fuel pump.
The kit consists of a machined aluminum ring which is first laser cut from 3/4" thick aluminum then precision CNC machined with a groove added to fit the factory fuel pump O-ring seal from Jeep JK/JKU/JL/JLU/JT (2007 through 2023). The O-ring Seal is sold separately and available direct from Mopar #55366298AA. Our machined aluminum ring includes eight (8) precision machined holes sized for 1/4"-20 UNC bolts. The machined aluminum ring is designed to be welded to an aluminum fuel tank or fuel cell.
The kit includes a steel clamping ring which fits over the top of your factory JK/JL/JT Fuel Pump to apply even clamping pressure on the fuel pump housing to provide a leak free seal between the fuel pump and O-ring seal. The kits also includes eight (8) 1/4"-20 UNC bolts complete with flat washers and lock washers.
