MRT has designed and manufactured a simple solution for customers who want to upgrade their exhaust on a vehicle that has factory-installed Active or Dual Mode Exhaust valves. Now this simple to install solution allows customers to install a performance exhaust without having to tune their car to defeat the Active or Dual Mode Exhaust valve by simulating the "flapper" valve that opens up when the dual or active exhaust mode is activated on Ford Mustang, Ford Focus, Dodge Challenger or Dodge Charger vehicles without causing a Check Engine Light (CEL).
The MRT Active & Dual Mode Exhaust Power Plate is made from durable 304 stainless steel, designed and manufactured in the USA by MRT. How it works: it is a motion control plate that mounts to the Active Exhaust or Dual Mode Exhaust electric motor. It allows the Motor to cycle as the car's computer expects it to, allowing the customer to enjoy a full-time performance exhaust without throwing a check engine light and having to tune their car. This plate was designed for aftermarket exhaust systems only.
