The BMW 4cyl M42 fuel rail is delivered without model-adapted brackets but with M6 threads for custom bracket manufacturing and installation. The aftermarket fuel rail for the M42 engine allows you to install AN fuel lines and aftermarket injectors for your classic 4cyl BMW engine.
The Nuke Performance's newest generation of fuel rails grants an easy fit to your engine with an extremely lightweight design. It uses the unique injector safety clips that fuel rails from Nuke Performance have become famous for, which grants a leakproof seal even during a crash where the fuel rail would get torn out of the intake manifold. For the BMW M42 engine, we do not provide you with the needed brackets for your installation, custom brackets need to be manufactured by the installer, and the fuel rail is equipped with two mounting points with M6 threads.
The Nuke Performance BMW 4cyl M42 fuel rail is delivered without the needed brackets which have to be custom-made when installation is performed.
The fuel rails use AN-8 ORB threaded fittings for each end and also offer an additional side port with AN-6 ORB thread. We offer various fittings and our low-profile full-flow banjo fittings for a space-efficient installation. The fuel rail is delivered with an AN-6 ORB Plug for the side port but the main port fittings are sold as accessories.
One distinctive feature of Nuke Performance is its use of injector safety clips, designed to uphold a flawless seal for injectors even under the strain of extreme fuel pressure.
Whether during assembly, engine installation, or in the unfortunate event of an accident, these clips ensure the injectors remain securely attached to the rail. This design prevents any fuel spillage, even in scenarios where the fuel pump continues to run or there is residual pressure in the fuel system.
