These axles are a direct replacement for the factory shaft but are upgraded to a 4340 alloy steel. This alloy is heat treated to improve both tensile and torsional strength by 30%. The shaft splines are rolled, not cut, into the shaft to further increase overall component strength. Sold in pairs and includes hardware.
