If you’re looking to take your off-road adventures to the next level, let me tell you about the 2565 PCI Race Radios Builder Package. This setup is all about keeping you connected without the hassle of headsets, so you can focus on the thrill of the ride. You get everything you need to install it in your vehicle, and if you want to add headsets or helmets later, you can easily do that too. Plus, they offer some great mounting solutions that make installation a breeze in most UTVs.
So, what’s in the box? First off, you’ll find the 4 Link Pro Elite Intercom. This bad boy comes with two 12-foot cables and two 16-foot cables for the rear seats, all equipped with quick disconnect nexus mil spec connections. You can even upgrade to Bluetooth or DSP if you’re looking for that extra edge.
Then there’s the Icom F5021 Mobile Radio. This isn’t just any radio; it’s a 50-watt VHF with an alphanumeric display and 128 channels already pre-programmed with our go-to desert frequencies. If you’ve got any special frequencies you need, just add a note to your order, and they’ll hook you up.
Don’t forget about the Push to Talk Buttons—you get one velcro and one panel mount, making it easy to communicate on the fly. The package also includes an antenna and coax, specifically a 17-foot hole mount coax and a no ground plane antenna, ensuring you stay connected no matter where you are.
And for those who love their tunes or need to take calls on the go, there’s a Music/Phone Audio Input Cable that’s six feet long. You can easily plug in your music or take calls without missing a beat.
Now, let’s talk about the intercom itself. The 4 Link Pro Elite Intercom has some killer features like digitally controlled squelch and noise cancellation. It even automatically mutes the music when you start talking, so you won’t miss a word. If you’re in a loud vehicle—think no windshield, V8 engines, or just a roaring exhaust—the DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING (DSP) feature is a game changer. It cuts out all the background noise except your voice, and you can easily toggle it on and off with a single touch.
And if you’re all about that wireless life, the Bluetooth capability lets you pair your phone or music device seamlessly. Enjoy your favorite tracks or take calls without ever having to plug anything in. It’s all about hands-free convenience, and the one-touch operation makes it super easy to control.
Here’s a quick rundown of the features:

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
