If you're looking for a solid upgrade for your Pyrotect SA2020 helmet, you might want to check out this shield. It comes pre-installed with Cruz Armor's self-healing protection, which is a game-changer. Seriously, I’ve put this thing through its paces, and it holds up like a champ.
The SA2020 Pyrotect models, including the 3930, are already known for their durability, but adding this shield takes it to another level. The clarity is impressive—whether you're racing or just cruising around, visibility is key, and this shield delivers. Plus, the self-healing feature is pretty cool. Minor scratches just disappear over time, which means you can keep your view clear without constantly swapping out shields.
And let’s talk installation. It fits right onto the Pyrotect SA2020 models without any hassle. You don’t need to be a tech wizard to get this on; if you can handle a screwdriver, you’re golden. It’s designed to work seamlessly with PCI Race Radios too, so if you’re into that setup, you’re in luck.
All in all, this Pyrotect shield is a smart investment for anyone serious about safety and performance. It’s tough, it’s clear, and it’s ready to take on whatever the track throws at you. If you want to keep your helmet in top shape while enjoying a crystal-clear view, this is the way to go.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
