What I really love about the Elite FS 9 is how intuitive it is. With its built-in GPS antenna and Lowrance’s reliable navigation tech, it’s like having a trusty co-pilot guiding you through the waters. Just keep in mind, that built-in antenna likes to have a clear view of the sky. If you’re in a spot where that’s tricky, you might want to consider adding the Point 1 Baja for an external antenna. It really helps boost your signal and keeps you on track.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
