If you’re serious about your pit crew game, the Alpinestars Tech-M Gloves are where it’s at. These gloves were born out of the World Endurance Championship, so you know they’ve been tested in the heat of the moment. Made from flame-resistant aramid fiber, they’re built to handle the rigors of pit work while keeping your hands safe and comfortable.
What sets these gloves apart? Well, they’ve got impact-absorbing foam in all the right places—think knuckles and fingers—so when you’re wrenching on those wheels, you’re not just relying on grip but also on shock absorption. And speaking of grip, the silicon printed zones give you that extra hold when you’re handling tools or changing tires. You can really feel the difference when you’re working with a wheel gun; it’s like they were custom-made for it.
These gloves are lightweight, too. The reduced material construction means you won’t feel weighed down, which is a blessing during those frantic pit stops. Plus, the elasticated wrist and wide opening make them a breeze to put on and take off, even when you’re in a hurry.
Here’s a quick rundown of what you should know:
And let’s not forget about the features:
So if you’re looking for gloves that are more than just a pretty face, the Alpinestars Tech-M Gloves are a solid choice. They’re built for the real deal, just like you.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
