If you're serious about racing, you know how crucial it is to have gear that works with you, not against you. These Alpinestars Tech-1 ZX V3 gloves are designed with that in mind. They’ve upped the game with nearly a 20% improvement in heat transmission, which means your hands stay cooler even when the track is heating up.
Crafted in collaboration with some of the best in F1 and endurance racing, these gloves feature a unique dual-sided honeycomb fabric that strikes a balance between protection and breathability. It’s like they took the best parts of previous models and made them even better. The 3D silicon print on the palm gives you an incredible grip without feeling bulky, so you can really feel the wheel and the road.
One of the standout features is the pre-curved shape of the gloves. They’ve tweaked this from earlier versions, which means less bunching and a snugger fit while you’re gripping the wheel. You’ll notice the difference during those long races when fatigue starts to creep in.
Getting the right fit is key. Just wrap a measuring tape around your hand behind the knuckles (skip the thumb) and keep it snug. Measure both hands and go with the larger size. Trust me, you want these to fit just right.
Available in Black/Anthracite, these gloves are more than just a pretty face. They’re built for performance, comfort, and safety. If you’re looking to step up your game on the track, these are definitely worth a look.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
