If you're serious about racing, you know that keeping your engine running smoothly is just as important as your driving skills. You've probably changed your oil filter and intake filter, but don’t forget about your Race Air Filter. It’s a key player in your setup that often gets overlooked.
The Race Air Boost replacement filter is designed to keep out dirt and fine dust while ensuring that your engine gets a steady flow of clean, fresh air. Trust me, when you're pushing your vehicle to its limits, having a reliable air filter can make all the difference. This washable filter means you can keep it in top shape without breaking the bank on replacements every season.
Cleaning it is a breeze. Just grab an air compressor and blow the dirt out from the inside to the outside. After that, rinse it with warm water, again keeping the flow going from inside to outside. Shake off the excess water and let it dry completely before you pop it back in. I usually clean mine after every dirt outing, and I swap it out once a year to keep things fresh.
And hey, always pair your Race Air Boost filters with the Race Air Aluminum Bonnet. They work together like a dream.
Now, let’s talk hydration. If you haven’t heard of Fluid Logic yet, you’re in for a treat. This system is a game changer for anyone in motorsports. With just a touch of the LED-lit Microbutton, you can hydrate without losing focus on the race. It’s all about convenience and performance.
The Fluid Logic Coaxial system connects magnetically to your forced air system, replacing the Maglock, or you can use the magnetic Flush360 attachment right on the front of your helmet. It’s fully programmable through your iOS device, so you can adjust the volume of fluid, the intervals, and the strength to fit your personal needs.
Just a heads-up: the hose is sold separately, so make sure to grab that if you’re diving into the Fluid Logic setup.
With the 1180 PCI Race Radios FluidLogic Coax Hydration and Maglock, you’re not just racing—you’re racing smart. Keep your air clean and your hydration on point, and you’ll be ready to take on whatever the track throws your way.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
