One of the standout features for me is the removable interior. After a long day of riding, being able to pop out the plush Nylex cheek pads and liner for a wash is a lifesaver. Nobody likes a stinky helmet, right? And with the 95% UV protection shield, you can ride under the sun without worrying about glare or harmful rays. The shield is designed for quick, tool-less removal, so if you need to swap it out on the fly, you can do it in seconds.

Now, if you’re serious about your UTV adventures, you’ll want to consider getting it custom wired by the pros at PCI. They use top-notch components and even offer a RaceAir modification, which means you’ll get fresh air circulating in your helmet while you ride. It’s a small touch, but trust me, it makes a big difference on those hot days.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
