PCI Race Radios HJC i10 DOT Helmet Wired Elite w/ Raceair

If you're into UTV riding, you’ve probably heard about the HJC i10 helmet. This thing is a solid choice for anyone who spends time tearing up trails. It's not just about looking good; it's comfy, super lightweight, and the best part? You can take out the interior for cleaning or swapping out for something fresh. Plus, if you’re serious about your setup, you can get it custom wired by the pros at PCI, who know their stuff when it comes to high-quality components.

Let’s break down what makes this helmet a must-have:

  • The PCI Elite Wiring features a black 4-pin connector, perfect for hooking up to Elite and Comlink X intercom systems. That means you can chat with your buddies while you’re out there having a blast.
  • It’s DOT approved, so you can ride it recreationally without worrying about the legal stuff. Just remember, it’s not meant for racing—keep that in mind.
  • When you go for the PCI custom wiring, you’re getting a complete package. It comes with a microphone, large high-watt speakers, and an H2NO water-resistant pigtail. So, whether you're caught in a drizzle or kicking up some dust, your audio stays clear.
  • Ventilation? Oh, it’s got that covered too. The PCI RaceAir modified options come with channeled air vents, ensuring you get a nice breeze when you're pushing it hard.
  • The shell is made from advanced polycarbonate composite, so it’s tough enough to handle whatever you throw at it without weighing you down.
  • Comfort is key, right? The plush Nylex cheek pads and liner are removable and washable, so you can keep it clean and fresh after a long day of riding.
  • Worried about the sun? The shield offers 95% UV protection, and it’s super easy to remove and install without any tools. Quick swaps are a breeze!
  • And if you want to add a little something extra, it’s got Velcro installed for a helmet skirt (just grab that separately).
  • All in all, it weighs in at a light 4.05 lbs when wired with RaceAir, so you won’t feel like you’re lugging around a brick on your head.

This helmet is all about making your ride more enjoyable while keeping you safe and connected. If you're serious about your UTV adventures, the HJC i10 is a solid investment.

What is PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios has been the leader in off-road and racing communications since 1972. The company takes pride in its extensive field testing, competitive prices, unparalleled customer service, and simplified packages that make communications easy with unmatched support even after the sale. With more than 45 years of experience in the off-road racing industry, PCI Race Radios develops and tests all of its own products. The brand has a full-service technical repair shop at its headquarters in Long Beach, California, and provides trackside, mobile services to its desert enthusiasts at off-road races. PCI Race Radios supports the ASA, CORVA, ORBA, and the San Diego Off-Road Coalition. It also sponsors District 37, SCORE, SNORE, MDR, MORE, CORR, BITD, and provides desert racers with the Weatherman Relay Service.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
