The PCI Trax wiring comes with a gray 5-pin connector, perfect for hooking up to Trax stereo intercom systems. And if you’re like me and appreciate a little fresh air while you ride, the RaceAir modification is a game-changer. It pumps in fresh air right into your helmet, which is a lifesaver on those hot days.

Now, I should mention that this helmet is DOT approved, so it's great for recreational use, but don’t plan on taking it to the racetrack. That said, it’s packed with features that make it a solid choice for the everyday rider. The advanced polycarbonate composite shell feels sturdy without weighing you down—this thing tips the scales at just 4.05 lbs when wired with Race Air.

Inside, you’ve got plush, Nylex cheek pads and a liner that you can toss in the wash. Trust me, after a few rides, you’ll appreciate that feature. The shield offers 95% UV protection, and changing it out is a breeze—no tools required. Plus, it comes with Velcro installed for a helmet skirt, which is sold separately but worth considering if you want to keep the wind out.

In short, the HJC i10 helmet is a solid investment for anyone serious about their UTV adventures. It’s comfortable, well-designed, and packed with features that enhance your ride. Give it a shot—you won’t regret it.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
