This helmet is all about comfort and practicality—lightweight at just 4.05 lbs, it won’t weigh you down when you’re out there tearing it up. The interior is removable, so you can easily clean it after a long day of riding, and trust me, it’ll need it!

One of the standout features is the PCI Trax wiring system. It comes with a gray 5-pin connector that’s perfect for hooking up to Trax stereo intercom systems. You’ll appreciate the clear communication with your crew while navigating those rough terrains. Just a heads up, this helmet is DOT approved, so it's solid for recreational use, but don’t plan on using it for racing—it's not built for that kind of action.

Inside, you’ll find plush Nylex cheek pads and liner that are not only comfy but also removable and washable. Keeping things fresh is a breeze. The shield offers 95% UV protection, and you can swap it out quickly without needing any tools, which is a nice touch when you’re in a hurry.

Another cool feature is the H2NO water-resistant pigtail—great for those unexpected weather changes. Plus, it’s ready for the RaceAir modification, so you can get some fresh air circulating in your helmet while you’re out there. Just remember, the helmet skirt is sold separately, but it’s easy to add on with the Velcro already installed.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
