If you're serious about racing, you know how crucial a good helmet is. The PCI HJC AR-10 III RaceAir Helmet is a solid choice that combines comfort with some serious tech. It’s got a lightweight fiberglass shell, which means it won’t weigh you down during those long hours on the track. Plus, it’s SNELL SA 2015 certified, so you know it meets the safety standards that really matter.

This helmet comes in a crisp white color and is available in an X-Small size, making it a great fit for those of us who need something a bit smaller. But what really sets this helmet apart is the RaceAir ventilation system that PCI has modified. Trust me, when you're pushing your limits on the track, that airflow makes a world of difference. The channeled air vents keep you cool and focused, so you can concentrate on what really matters—driving.

Now, let’s talk about the sound. This helmet is custom wired with large, high-watt speakers and comes with an H2NO water-resistant pigtail and ear jack plug. You can also add Challenger II or Semi-Custom Ear Pieces for an even better audio experience. If you’re looking for a mic upgrade, you can swap in the Gentex Microphone for an extra $125. The standard mic does a decent job, but if you want crystal-clear communication, it’s worth considering.

One of my favorite features is the option to add noise-attenuating ear cups. They do make it a bit of a tight fit when putting the helmet on, but once it’s secured, the noise cancellation is fantastic. It helps you stay in the zone without distractions. And hey, if you’re into hydration on the go, there’s even an optional hydration system upgrade available.

For those who are serious about safety, all SA 2015 helmets come with a 6mm back plate already installed, making it super easy to add Head and Neck Restraint hardware. And if you’re looking to customize it further, there’s Velcro installed for a helmet skirt, which is sold separately.

Weighing in at just 4.10 lbs when wired with Race Air, this helmet feels light and comfortable on your head, letting you focus on the road ahead. Whether you’re hitting the dirt or the asphalt, the PCI HJC AR-10 III RaceAir Helmet has got your back.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
