  • Wide, low eye port – gives you a fantastic field of view, so you can keep an eye on the dash while staying aware of everything around you.
  • Shell made from proprietary lightweight composites – this isn’t just about looks; it’s built to take a beating without weighing you down.
  • Side Forced Air inlet with barbed adapter – because who doesn’t want to stay cool when the heat is on?
  • Velcro installed for Helmet Skirt (sold separately) – a nice touch if you want to keep the dust and debris out.
  • PCI Custom Wired with large, high watt speakers – these speakers pack a punch and come with a water-resistant pigtail and ear jack plug. If you want to take it up a notch, you can add Challenger II or Semi Custom Ear Pieces with Speakers.
  • Want to wire it in for Trax Stereo? Just add the $25 upgrade to your cart – makes communication a breeze.
  • Thinking about noise attenuation? We’ve got optional ear cups that really help cut down on the roar of the race. They might be a tight fit getting the helmet on, but trust us, once it’s on, you won’t want to take it off!
  • Comes standard with a low noise, low gain microphone, but if you’re looking for something a bit fancier, you can upgrade to a Gentex Microphone for $124.99.
  • All SA2015 and SA2020 helmets come with a 6mm back plate pre-installed, making it super easy to add Head and Neck Restraint hardware. Buy the hardware from us, and we’ll install it for free – just let us know in the notes!
  • Optional Hydration System Upgrade – because staying hydrated is key when you’re pushing hard on the track.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
